Management Plans of Intellectual Property
In order to promote EDT’s employees to uphold the concept of continuous innovation and improve their work and carry forward this culture, increase their willingness to participate, protect business secrets and R&D results, maintain industrial ethics and competition order, and value and accumulate intellectual property rights, so as to enhance EDT’s competitiveness, the “Codes for Intellectual Property Rights” are specifically designated to be followed.
Protection and management of patent
We carry out patent portfolio by cooperating with various technology R&D projects to enhance our product value and profitability. We divide patents into several stages such as development and research, patent proposal, patent approval, promotion and application, and benefit evaluation, give bonus incentives to patent proposers according to different stages, and take it as a reference for employee performance evaluation to stimulate patent proposals. At the same time, a professional patent law firm is hired to assist in reviewing and submitting intellectual property application documents, so as to improve the probability of approval by the Intellectual Property Office. In the process of research and development, we will also entrust a patent law firm to conduct a patent search for related technologies and carry out patent portfolio to reduce the risk of infringement of the company.
At present, a customized PLM system is used to manage the application, maintenance and document control of intellectual property rights, so that R&D personnel can clearly grasp the progress of EDT’s intellectual property development.
Protection and management of trade secret
EDT has signed an employment contract with all employees, which stipulates the following provisions related to the protection of trade secrets:
- Employees shall exercise the due care of a good administrator to keep and maintain the confidentiality of trade secrets.
- Employees shall not divulge or use the trade secrets of the former employer.
- During the tenure of the employee, any trade secrets related to the duties completed by the employee shall be owned by EDT.
- After leaving EDT, employees should still abide by the obligation of confidentiality, shall not disclose any business secrets, and shall not use EDT’s trade secrets within one year, and reserve the right to legally retrospective and compensate the company for losses.
